You're closest without going over.
hard to predict since its being launched separately
i would say, 400k US, 300k EU and 500K JP
1.2m launches combined
950,000
My prediction threads:
Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)
PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)
Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right
1.75 milions.
America : 800K
Europe : 600K
Japan : 250K
Rest : 100k
I Expect 5/6M by End of March.
As many people have pointed out this is (basically) asking how many Nintendo will ship ...
While I could be wrong, Nintendo will probably ship between 400,000 and 1,000,000 systems in North America for launch day (most likely closer to 400,000) and may follow up with an additional 200,000 to 500,000 (probably closer to 200,000 if they ship any) later in the week. With this in mind I think it is most likely that they will sell 500,000 to 750,000 in North America but I would put an outside chance at it surpassing 1,000,000 if they shipped enough; because launch week followed by Black Friday could be a very successful 1-2 punch.
Difficult to say as they launch in the different regions at different times, America's launch is 3 weeks earlier than Japan's!
But 350,000- Japan
650,000- America
500,000- Europe
1.5 million first week in all regions
Xbox One, PS4 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch will sell better than Wii U Lifetime Sales by Jan 1st 2018

So at least 2.5% of total sales for the system will be sold in its first week?
Logic.
