With so much HW to manufacture, I wonder when Ninty locked down their specs, since they had dev kits released until May? Lets not forget there were reports on possible shortage of gamepads, so I am expecting a low number.

The Wii U heave the reputations  of the Predecessor Wii plus Wii U Heave the Core Game like Assassins Creed  Call of Duty etc...

I'm really interested to know how many units Nintendo has put up for pre-order thus far. I'll say world wide first week sales will be 1.8 million with 6 million sold world wide by the end of the year. Book it!

100% sell through at least for the black premium edition. 1.7 million first week. And just as much Bayonetta 2 preorders, which is exclusive for Wii U.

For this holiday season, it'll do better than the Wii, as long as Nintendo has enough supply. Mario has a much bigger appeal than Zelda. Twilight Princess didn't appeal to everyone last time around, and most people didn't know what Wii Sports was until word-of-mouth spread between 2007 and 2008.

Really? I didn't know! The Internet has been sooo rational about the whole thing!

 

@gentii- I get where you're coming from, and it'll have a better FW than the Wii I reckon. But...that's just too high. Far higher than the 3DS got, and I get it wasn't at Christmas, and supplies won't reach those numbers anyway, so...
