Aren't most games released at the end of the week? Also I think the good first week sales are made up mostly of good first day sales. So I expect Uprising to drop next week. But as the game is really great, I expect people will tell friends, and so this game will have some legs. 1 million worldwide, I put it in my signature.

So, is it good 2 day numbers then? Most games come out on Tuesdays I thought.

I think Kid Icarus will have higher numbers next week.

Usually it's Tuesday for North America and Thursday for Europe.

However Nintendo games aren't as frontloaded so the second week is often times very similar to the first week. Haven't checked if 3DS games follow the same pattern though.

3 massive flops all in one week (Silent Hill HD, Ninja Gaiden, RE). With more incoming (Silent Hill 6, DMC). No hope for Japan.

I hope Tales of Graces sales prove to Namco that it's worth localizing the games. Heck they don't even need to dub them, just put subs, could probably ask a few die hard tales fans from a Western country to do that for you for free.

Sorry, but there is no way I believe those Hardware WW numbers for the PS3 and 360.
Are they down on last year? Considering Jan and Feb NPD plus the UK video game retail reports there is no doubt, but in my mind there is no way the 360 is down to 109k and PS3 146k this early in the year.

Another strange thing, why is the Wii maintaining sales in March while the HD twins are free falling, when there are solid multiplats coming every week for the systems plus good deals to purchase both while the Wii is stagnant waiting for Xenoblade help?

Another thing that makes little sense to me considering NPD numbers, the PS3 has been outselling the 3ds this year, in Feb the margin was surprisingly large between both (100k). Why did VGC make huge adjustments on PS3 (PS3 was actually 40k behind the 3ds before), just to report first week of march where it beat the 3ds by just 100 units .

Once again, not trying to be a douche or anything, VGC has 100x more data to back those numbers, but in my eyes they will have to make some adjustments on a slow part of the year (not good considering future console releases plus holiday season) when "official" numbers come in.

If those numbers are true, then price drops will not be enough, console revisions have to be announced at E3.
