I never said Nintendo wasn't pushing for this.  What I said is that its a temporary drop and it is.  the Official price is still the same.........for now.


Just know you were wrong! :P In all seriousness, it most likely is newegg responding to gamestop. It ends in a week. I think people need to stop overthinking things.

Don't worry. I've had GameStop employees tell me that Vita will fail just like the PSP did. Something about being too expensive and not having games (for Vita and PSP), and I left the store shortly afterwards.

Reminds me of the treatment retailers gave to Nintendo systems when they thought they would fail.

Downloadable games for the Vita = bad business for gamestop..
it's better for Gamestop if the 3DS crushes the Vita so everybody keeps buying and selling their physical games at GS..

It is a temporary price cut in a store that sells to core gamers, but yet another brilliant strategic move on Nintendo...I am loving how they countered the Vita so beautifully every step of the way.

See in NA the $250 Vita is being bundled with a SEN game, a memory card and errr something else (maybe a carrying case) for $299.

This temporary drop means you can get a 3DS for literally half the price of a Vita. You can like 4 games to match the Vita deal.



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

well if this becomes permanant . this is not going good for sony .. for 300 bucks you can buy 2 3dses to enjoy multiplayer ! if this becomes the new msrp .

I knew psvita had little chance before the first price cut but now after the price cut it didnt have a chance and now another price reduction? possible? this definatelly will hurt the chances even more .

I said before that sony made a mistake by letting nintendo jump in the swimming pool first!

cause they will take all the water and then some .
i say this is just icing on the cake .
i will not be surprised if a new model is coming soon . and it does get a permanant 150 price range with the dsi getting cut to 99 dsi xl follows 3ds . and dslite 49.99

nintendo really is not playing around this time .
they really want sony gone , and what a way to do it.
not only did they secure monsterhunter in japan . but now it looks as if they may steal the us launch thunder by slashing the price even further then what was already a 110 dollar cheaper product lol 280-170=110 (i include a 8 gig memory card in my price) it depends on what your getting w ur vita.
i gotta get an 8 or else ill be where i was w psp (2 gig) out of space and only have like 28 games lol only 2 are download ps1 games

 

and no your not getting a 250 dollar vita for 300 w bundle thats a 3g version .    

so you best rethink that .
