In less than a year and a half we already have a diverse range of first party offerings across numerous genres, including racers (Mario Kart World, Kirby Air Riders) 3D platformer, (DK Bananza) 2D platformer, (Yoshi) action, (Hyrule Warriors) life sim, (Pokopia) sports, (Mario Tennis Fever, Drag x Drive) RTS, (Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave) TPS, (Splatoon Raiders) action-adventure, (Prime 4) rail shooter, (Starfox) and RPG. (Pokemon Legends Z-A)

What's more, these games are arriving at a consistent pace of almost 1 game per month, which is quite remarkable given how long games take to make.

While the company's biggest franchises are mostly still in the future, and I think we're all keen for that next 3D Mario and such, I still think the lineup so far deserves credit both for the wide range of different genres on offer, and how regularly they have been hitting.

While Fire Emblem is in no way an RTS and never has lol, it’s a tactical RPG series, the point still stands!

It really has been such a varied lineup and something I can certainly applaud. At least a couple of these are nice surprises, so I’m looking forward to what surprises Nintendo has in store for 2027.

Got the ultimate action-adventure releasing in a month and a half too!
