Wow, the Switch sold almost the same as the last year

I noticed that too - barely down y/o/y

Playing Xenoblade 2 before I buy Xenoblade 3 (otherwise I couldn't wait to play 3).

Can they announce a new Fire Emblem? A remake of Genealogy or Tellius would suffice !

Switch 1 is probably getting some Tomodachi boost, looking at how the Switch Lite was the best selling SKU. There are probably a few ultra casuals in Japan who played Tomodachi previously on the DS and 3DS and who never transitioned to Switch now buying a fairly cheap Switch lite to play Tomodachi Life.

    Same for PS5

Pokopia sales are starting to come down to earth. It's getting close to 1m though, and I can see it probably turning into an evergreen title. Switch 1 sales are still going strong. If it can finish the year with 1m or more sales I would consider that a win.

Seeing Pokémon Leaf Green and Fire Red stay in top 10 all these weeks is funny lol. Two GBA ports released nearly two-and-a-half decades ago... maybe this'll be a wake up call for Nintendo to start releasing titles through VC again. Even if I prefer to have access via the NSOnline subscription. (You own those VC titles about as much as you own those NSO titles if Wii/3DS/Wii U VC is any indicator.)

At least seems like a no brainer for the Pokemon company to eventually port all their older mainline titles to Switch/Switch 2, easy catalogue sales forever.
