UPDATE 1 (21/02/2023)
So after playing the game on its release day, and reading some posts on RPG and LoD specific groups, I have a warning.
Be careful while using the dragoon magic Astral Drain. I had a big problem with it getting my game stuck after using it on a certain region. I used it on an enemy in the world map after and it was fine, but I'm reading players are having a lot of problems with it too.
If your game gets stuck, please use the new rewind feature immediately to go back to the frame right before you used a dragoon magic attack and try to avoid using it in that place (the entire region you are into, not just the current screen).
If you can get to a save point, exiting the game after saving and opening it again should fix it.
That also fix the audio issues that are happening after around one hour or more of continous gameplay. Those existed on the original game but used to happen only to much longer play sessions (usually well over 3 hours or more of continuous gameplay).
UPDATE 2 (22/02/2023)
It's actually even worse, apparently every multi-target dragoon magic will get the game stuck after the fight or during it if you run out of the dragoon transformations turns as well. I could also confirm that myself at least with the dragoon magic Explosion, the magic did work, but when two turns after the char that used that magic attack ran out of dragoon turns, and should then turn back to its basic form, the game simply softlocked instead running that animation.
As of now the only safe option is to avoid using dragoon magic altogether, which is not how you would like to experience the game on your first playthrough.
I heard some people are apparently fixing the problem by deleting the game and installing it again, but I'm unsure if it actually works or if you would lose your previous save (one told me to try could saves for safety, but I'm not sure if you can do that to PS1 emulated game saves on PS4/PS5).
If I do try it I'll let you guys know.

I've tried to uninstall, redownload and reinstall the game, you don't lose your save file, but it does not fix the game either.

There is a patch up for download, have tested it myself and it did fix the dragoon magic so it does not softlocks the game anymore, just be sure you load a file from the actual game save (not the savestate) and it will work just fine. Might as well overwrite any old savestate after that to prevent the issue ever happening again.
