In numerous other threads, I voiced my opinion that my dream Zelda would be one that combined this art style:

Not only did Aonuma give me all three, but he exceded what I thought I knew I wanted by throwing in a little of this:
To give me the Zelda game of my dreams, aesthetically speaking, with this:

I literally could not be happier with the way it looks!!! I originally thought it looked too much like Skyward Sword, but upon further inspection, there are core differences in the artstyles that I've noticed. Most specifically is that this game is cell shaded like Wind Waker HD. Skyward Sword, while colorful, wasn't cell shaded.

I asked for ALBW in 3D and, aside from the stupid horse who's inclusion I will reserve judgement for until we see actual gameplay, I got literally exactly what I was hoping for, and more! A completely beautiful, artistic, unrealistic, doesn't look at all like the 2011 tech demo, Zelda game with bright colors, awesome lighting and particle effects.

Unless this new horse is massive, this new Link is no adult. He's a young boy. Maybe a younger teen, but no older than 13-14. Not an older teen or an adult. Let's end that discussion. |
