In reguards to the Wii U score looking at the number of games covered, I think it includes some of the indie games that Nintendo has on the eShop and some of them are pretty skunky.

This doesn't change much. fanboys don't pay attention to real world facts and statistics when spewing their bullshit about consoles and games they know absolutely nothing about. You have all these morons talking about XBone has more games for the year, when PS4 actually has almost 4 times as many, but then you'll get the nutass statements like "B-b-but dere's no Haloz or Forsaz, so tat list iz shit!"

Average is completely meaningless in this case.

A console with 1000 bad games and 500 great games still has a better library than another console with 400 great games and only 100 bad games.

Since nobody is forced to play through all the crappy games, there is no reason why the average should matter.

Well Wii U has less games and some terribly rated games hat therefore have a big impact. Sonic Boom (32) isn't even the lowest rated game. Actually 3 games have actually somehow managed to score worse.

Family party has a metascore of 11....Wow!

Fun statistic but of course we all know it's just the best rated games that truly matter.

While 119 of the Wii U's 206 games are 70+, EIGHTEEN of them are 40 or worse. For comparison

Wii U 40-: 18
PS4 40-: 7
Xbox1 40-: 4

I had no idea how many shitty games were released on the Wii U (especially early on), it seems initially all the Wii shovelware was just chucked at the Wii U until people stopped buying it.

...Except Sonic. He managed to suck a couple years in :p

I think this shows there's relative parity across the consoles though. I wish we had one for the PC since the start of the 8th gen but that'd be a hassle to make.

Well it just makes the comparison totally wrong since most games have less than 20 reviews on X1 while they have more than 60 on PS4, the scale is totally different, it cant be compared.

Yeah, an average of all games ranked 60+ or something similar may be more interesting

the only remasters that are on PS4 that aren't on XB1 are TLOU and.. well that's it cause GOW and Uncharted collection aren't out yet. You would have more credibility to your argument if there weren't so many more games (more likely good of crap) on PS4.

Wii U with over 200 scores? what are you looking at I pretty much have bought all the major Wii U releases and I dont think I have even cracked 60 games.
