Pretty sure I found the culprit... Nintendo's 3rd parties are absolutely horrible lol
While 119 of the Wii U's 206 games are 70+, EIGHTEEN of them are 40 or worse. For comparison
Wii U 40-: 18
PS4 40-: 7
Xbox1 40-: 4
I had no idea how many shitty games were released on the Wii U (especially early on), it seems initially all the Wii shovelware was just chucked at the Wii U until people stopped buying it.
...Except Sonic. He managed to suck a couple years in :p
I think this shows there's relative parity across the consoles though. I wish we had one for the PC since the start of the 8th gen but that'd be a hassle to make.
