I really don't see what Natal is going to do for the 360. It might be a game changer but not a system seller. I don't think anyone would line up at midnight to buy it either.

Price cut, a slim model or an interesting new piece of hardware bundled with a console have higher impact than one game.

I'm just saying....why does that battle start now, and not back in 2007 when the PS3 had just launched in the territory and was several million units behind and had to play catch up? If the PS3, which launched a year later, at a staggering price and had terrible marketing at first, managed to not only close, but overcome a several million unit lead the 360 had, then it's not a battle at all. If the pace keeps up, it'll be a very one sided victory, like a 6'5" football player beating up on a 3rd grade nerd.
That like saying that when the Wii finally caught the 360 worldwide..."the battle has only begun" even though the Wii was outselling it consistently week in and week out, just like how it is in Others with the PS3 vs. 360

OT: I'm super glad PS3 > 360 in others. I doubt the 360 will ever take back others now and PS3 has Japan locked up. Now for America!

Sony is a popular brand name and will outsell the 360 sometime this gen.

At the time when the 360 got it's price cut in 2008, it was constantly outselling the PS3 in Others in the following weeks/months. A new price cut, a 360 slim or maybe NATAL (if successful) could easily turn the tables again.
Without the slim, the PS3 would still be over 1m behind the 360 in Others and it would have taken another year for it to outsell the 360 there. The Wii didn't need anything to fly past the 360.
