Forums - Sales - Could Halo Wars possibly outsell the much more hyped KZ2 in first two month

Indeed Tacoboy, I am sure you will be out with your virtual pitchfork when a Halo game in NA beats Killzone 2. People whom go on gaming forums are a fraction of the general population which go to a store and pick up a game.

People are going to rip new bumholes WHEN Halo Wars outsells Killzone 2 in NA, will be very interesting to see what happens though.

Yeah it's completely possible.

Killzone 2 already gone gold with the preorders, but knowing halo fanboys , i think it will sell a million in the first month.

Killzone 2 will out sale Halo Wars.

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

Boy that'd be something else if it does. I would love the see a RTS outsell a major FPS. :D No offense KZ2. But that'd be absolutely epic for console RTS games.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

Starcraft outsold all Halos - not satisfied enough?

Starcraft has been on the market since 1998 and has sold 9.5 million copies. Halo 3 will outsell it in the next year or 2 and definitely in the next 10.

Yeah and it likely will. Halo is 3rd to only Mario Kart Wii and Wii Fit this gen for not bundled game sales. Halo is huge, over 1/3 of 360 owners own Halo 3.

I'd be pretty shocked if it didn't, actually. Killzone 2 will easily have the edge in LT, but in first week, first month, and possibly first two months, Halo Wars has it in the bag...

Do not underestimate the power of the Halo brand name. It's unstoppable. Also, do not underestimate the power of Microsoft's advertising.
