It's like they want people to pirate their game.

That's a surprisingly extreme reaction, coming from you.

Frankly I'm just more likely to not buy it at all, considering it'll probably end up being $100 or more in total.  But most people will still buy it, and they'll end up making money off it, so when the next game rolls around they'll try to screw us over even more somehow.

I'm not saying I'll pirate, I'm just saying when you sale your game for a completely unreasonable price you're just asking for trouble.

ok I get the Half life/ Sam and Max episodes thing.. but this... is just stupid!!! WTF.... Wanna bet you can actually play all the sides in Multiplayer so you are paying for some maps and movies? and I also hope this doesn't mean I have to install it 3 x 10gig per campaign...

man, they learn how to screw us hard fast dont they

come play minecraft @  mcg.hansrotech.com

minecraft name: hansrotec

XBL name: Goddog

I would laugh if all 3 produucts were $60 as they said its a "trilogy"

Anyways South Korea will still buy all of it

On a more serious note....Blizzard must be careful & not be arrogant....

we know where that got SONY this gen & Nintendo in the past. Ofcourse due to WOW....they are literally impregnable

And thinking about this a little more, I'm somewhat convinced they will be more than $60 combined.

If all three products were that $15-20 price mark, they would tell us. Why would they let us speculate and get all pissed off at them if they weren't? I've seen firsthand that bad rumors get heard and payed much more attention than good ones and just cause confusion.

People are going to hear only that you have to buy the game three separate times. They aren't going to hear you have to buy it three times if you only want to play the three separate campaigns and they aren't going to hear that each pack will be $15-20 if that's announced later.

There's no chance the game will sell for under $50. Remember, a lot of people buy these games for multiplayer, not single-player, and I assume you can play all the races on multi-player without buying each Race Pack. If that's the case, Blizzard ain't going to let people get away with only paying $20.

And if you can only play whatever race is on your version...

No words.

This isn't screwing people over. As long as each game's campaign is long, and high quality, this is fine.

My guess is $29 each and a Starcraft II battlechest version for $80....

I just couldnt believe it when I read that Starcraft 2 is going to be split 3 ways for individual race campaigns. All Blizzard games have included all campaigns into a huge chocful retail game, so this will take lots of getting used to, assuming I want to get used to it at all.

Also, a bit out of topic, but I was watching the new Wizard class reveal video for Diablo 3 and it wasnt that great either.

Yeah, but the article almost makes it sound like they aren't going to come out at the same time.
