Hey now. The man could be evil, summoning a demon and still that's not cool that shots were fired. Cop on now, I seen your posts before and you're radicalised. Take a break from posting and assess yourself dude. Get some perspective.

You call me a radical when you side with someone engaging in one of the most predatory industries of our time? One that has driven teens to suicide, stolen precious drinking water, and made deepfake child sex abuse material, by the way. I don't personally want him dead, but if he ended up like Brian Thomson I wouldn't be surprised. Evil people invite evil acts upon themselves. Dahmer knew that. Hitler knew that. Elon knows that.

Yes. You're radical. I didn't call you a bad person, just your perspective is skewed. Take your last three sentences ffs like... I have no skin in your game, I just wish you'd step back and assess yourself.

Why should I listen to someone named LegitHyperbole? That's like Elon saying he knows what's best for Germany.

Okay maybe CaptainExplosion needs a sitewide “time out” period. His comments here would not fly on any other social media platform. What good are moderators for if they refuse to moderate the users? I know I’m overstepping my bounds a little with this comment, but I refuse to silently sit here and read these remarks.

Surely you're taking the piss a bit? If not, I really hope ya stop stressing yourself out.

Fine. I'm leaving. At least for a while. But I know what's coming thanks to Altman and these other AI slobs who are likely pedophiles anyway.

I'm really hoping for the best for you, dude. Seriously. I think a break could potentially serve very beneficial— specifically a break from the internet. I know when I took my break from the internet during the summer, it completely transformed my perception. It helped me see that the internet really is an echo chamber of people needing answers NOW, and "fight on behalf of others" (via disparaging and dehumanizing).

Hope to see you again soon.

"From a global allocation perspective, actually, it's quite terrible to have everybody have a bunch of the world's limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer and being used 5% of the time," Altman said. "You want maximum utilization in the cloud if you're trying to deal with this very supply-constrained environment. And somehow many people's intuition is the opposite of that."

Let me counter this:

"From a global sustainability perspective, actually, it's quite terrible to have all the tech bros have a bunch of the world's limited water supplies getting pumped their own data centers and getting used up 95% of their volume. You want maximum preservation of drinking water to deal with this very fragile environment. And somehow techbro's intuition is the opposite of that."

And

"From a global economic perspective, actually, it's quite terrible to have all those billionaires have a large bunch or the limited financial wealth sitting in their hoards and just being used 5% of the time. You want maximum money flow to keep the economy running in this very stagflationary economic environment. And somehow billionaire's intuition is the opposite of that."

Agreed; the really rich part too is when he talks about "this very supply constrained environment" and it's like YOU caused the supply constraints you prick.
