The Witcher 3 has now made expansions for long dead or older games that haven't seen treatment as a new thing... if they succeed with this we could see expansions for games like Bloodborne or Sekiro or story DLC for GTA5. God I hope they succeed with Songs of the Past next year. I would love a Sekiro expansion and then publishers start to see this as a way to bridge long awaited sequels so we get Sekiro 2 or Bloodborne 2 or RDR 2 before a semi planned RDR3.
Just the remaster alone with the free DLCs could change they way things are done after a consecutive player bump higher than all time. They're half way to proving this is the way business could be done.
