Sorry. I must disagree. It has gotten far more painterly in the remaster cause of this shean lighting effect, it has the same effect you see in Elden Ring. The only place it doesn't is the swamp in Velen. At night it is ludicrously painterly. I can't tell if it's a good thing or not, it's just different. I have seen points in the game where the lighting has hit right onto effects and it looks better than most games this decade. Moonlight is consistently painterly and looks like that game Ghost of New Eden if you've tried that.

Yeah, we'll certainly disagree - I have watched quite a few comparisons videos (Original/NextGen Upgrade/Remaster), and while there are things that I like in Remaster, overall feel is just off for me. And you should look up painting of Lorrain and Turner to know what I'm talking about, original is much closer to them, than Remaster. (and no, to me Banishers doesn't look very painterly)

Trust me. This is different in HDR on a screen than anything shown on YouTube.

Around the Network

I just love how they brought the performance down and the month one bugs back. It's fantastic.

Same glitches as month one in 2015. Armourers not talking for sales, monsters in interiors like caves floating, stuff floating in cutscenes. Etc. The amourerours not talking in Kaer Trolde and Crach An Craite not being intractable are very big problems cause I needs me Gwent cards and me's treasure maps for the wolven gear.

First hard crash on PS5. I haven't had a crash since before Blood and Wine.

As for OP. Idk why people aren't mad, I guess they weren't in the middle of a playthrough of a perfected game 🤷
.ugh, CDPR are so good but such disappointments at the same time.
