Older versions of DLSS have trouble with hair, this could be the first Nintendo title to use DLSS? Can't remember their previous games using it. 

Looking at it more it is a strangely mixed bag visually for me. Kokiri Forest and especially Hyrule Field look bleh while other areas like Gerudo Valley look much better. A lot of the negative reactions would probably be more muted if they showed off the different areas more.

Are we thinking Nintendo is going with a weird strategy and announcing Twilight Princess on NSO in the normal Direct or saving it for another announcement time? It would have been so quick to announce today that I don't know why it wouldn't be announced today unless Wii is coming to NSO and that will be announced tomorrow with TP on there.

With a PC Port leaking via steam achievements there's a chance that gets announced for Switch 1/2 today. If not today likely at some point, I imagine it's a rerelease coming to all platforms.

There was not a lot of games as part of the Zelda 40Th celebration. I hope for more games in todays direct.
I expect several ports, a new 2D Metroid, more info on Duskbloods (expect it to be delayed to spring 2027), DLC for Mario Kart and Pokopia and info on a yet unknow game from Next Level Games that is not a Luigi's mansion game.

Yeah I was surprised we didn't get a Zelda spinoff or even a NSO port announced. Could have just included the game and movie teaser in today's direct. The Zelda stream was very padded with stuff most gamers don't care about, 95%+ of Nintendo fans are never going to the museum in Japan lol.

A big Mario Kart World expansion would be very welcome.

4 hours to go; I've only slept like 5 of the last 36 hours so running on pure hopium here.

My game schedule for the rest of the year is already so packed that I've had to shelve games for next year, so no idea how I'm gonna handle even more must-have titles in the next few months, but it's a good problem to have and much preferable to having too few games.

Given its been 4 years since Next Level's last game and Luigi's Mansion 3 sold like 13 million IIRC, LM4 seems like it could be a possibility, which would be cool for the graphical spectacle of what they can pull off on Switch 2 given how beautiful LM3 was even on Switch 1.

If the Ravenous leak from a while back turns out to be legit that'd be cool as well, seems plausible given the timeframe.

It'd also be nice to get release dates for some of the 2026 releases that haven't been nailed down yet like 007 First Light and Stellar Blade.

True, expected much more than just ocarina of time and some music/ movie announcement.

Today is exactly 30 years since the release of the first Crash Bandicoot game. Wouldn't it be nice if he somehow showed up in this direct, and it wasn't fortnite. Switch 2 updates for Crash NSane / CTR / Crash 4?
