Sekiro.

Virtua Fighter 5 REVO does what it does very well.

(Part of me is surprised you didn’t say The Witcher 3!) Sekiro is definitely a game I wanna play some day. From what I’ve heard it can be a tad bit challenging, even for seasoned FromSoft players. May have to save it for after having given games such as Bloodborne and Elden Ring a thorough shot.

It was my first, and for a long time the only, FromSoftware game. Initial difficulty came from my trying the first boss again and again because I thought it was a god opportunity to learn parrying - and it was, but I thought I sucked at parrying because and needed to get better because I kept taking damage, probably because the parries weren't perfect. It got a lot easier after that once I decided to move on rather than keep practicing. After that, most of the difficulty came from learning the movesets of the bosses and reacting to them. It's a fantastic game otherwise, but I didn't really enjoy the "learning the movesets" part, because ultimately it was a very mechanical process, and some rare moves you could see only after a really large number of tries, so they could really screw you up after you thought you'd learned the fight already. I probably also sucked at the game because learning those movesets and how to react to them took a while, so your mileage may vary.

I'm currently playing the first Dark Souls, and there's much less learning movesets by heart there. To compensate for that better aspect over Sekiro though, occasionally there's poor and cheap designs. That game definitely has no place in this thread, Sekiro in my opinion is a much better candidate for this thread depending on how you feel about the movesets.

A lot of masterpieces have obvious flaws, but there are a few games where I can’t really think of any issues.

Super Metroid

The Witcher 3 is better but Sekiro is flawless, The Witcher 3 still has flaws, minor little things that make some parts a pain. Still my favourite game and I'd prefer TW3 over Sekiro but Sekiro has only one flaw and that is some frame pacing issues but yet they are in the exact same place everytime so not really a proper flaw in the litteral sense. Bloodborne and Elden Ring have more flaws also but it's cause Sekiro is so tightly controlled and the more freedom a game has, the more wiggle room for flaws to tarnish a game. 

Games like Sekiro or Transistor or Nex Machina are so tightly controlled and designed to be flawless, doesn't mean they are the best games just there isn't flaws in their design. 

Hm...honestly, apart from Tetris can't really think of anything else...funny thing, I don't even like it that much, but it's probably only flawless game I know of, and only that stands at 10/10 in my ratings.

Perfect doesn't exist, but there are many that get very close to perfection, like Breath if the Wild or Super Metroid for instance.
