So, I have a PS Account with many PS4/PS3/PS Vita titles purchased (specially PS4). I sold my PS4 years ago, but I plan on getting another one in the future. Once I do, will my digital games be available for me to download once I connect to the internet? Or have I lost all those games already?

This is only for purchases going forward, so your old games shouldn't be affected.

I want to play stuff years from now when those services maybe gone. There also people in places who don't always have that option. This is the very thing that got Don in trouble. Telling people who can't always have online to play a Xbox 360 instead.

Honestly with how important the internets become it should just be considered a utility at this point. This changes absolutely nothing for mostly everyone and is at worst a minor inconvenience to a very select few

Sure, it isn't good, but 99% of us would never have known, had they not said it out loud.  

I can't fathom PSN being gone in your lifetime.  And I figure if PSN goes away, emulation will be widely available. 

While the impact would be massive, the risk is incredibly low.

I do agree, it is stupid.  I can't fathom many ps5 games actively decompiling software and participating in piracy.  I get it on PC, but console gamers, I can't see it as being a big deal.  

This is true but we can still push back against practices which spell future red flags for digital ownership & games preservation. For me personally there is a zero % chance of this being an issue lol and if it was, access to my playstation games would probably be the least of my worries... 

but still I don't like that a digital purchase now comes with a constant requirement of internet connection, these 2 things should be separate. I'm sure they should be ways to tie a download to an account at purchase without constantly needing to check the internet

My ps5 auto connects to my internet and I doubt PSN will ever go away in my lifetime. I mean you can still play Destiny 1 on PS3 servers.

Until they update their license agreement they can't enforce the 30 days check, well not legally at least

I just read the brazillian EULA and the list reasons they can use to remove your license is descritionary and non-exaustive. They can use a 30 days online as a check to see if you are violating the items they described, but their inability to make the check don't grant them power to revoke the license
