I would have to take you word for it.  I never signed up for Face, Twitter, etc.  

That's probably for the best, they've degenerated into a hellscape of doom, gloom, and engagement bait. You're not really missing anything and probably happier for it.

I’d also point toward MC User Scores— specificially MKWorld, Pokémon Legends Z-A, MTFever, as well as any and all of the NS2 Editions so far. I’m sure I can come up with something lore concrete though this is all that’s coming up ATM.

Maybe.  Fever has a review average of 76, while users are at a 7.5, seems spot on.  MK World is 7.0, with 86 review.  The 7.0 doesn't bother me, the game is a bit boring IMO.  I have played it the least amount of all MK games.  Pokemon is getting ripped, no idea why, other than GameFreak is awful at optimization.  

On the other side Dk has a 8.9, which is quite high.  BotW is 8.7 user average, which is quite high.  Tears is 8.5 for the S2 via user average.  Prime 4 is 7.8, which is spot on reviews of 78. 

Doesn't seem that off the mark, with the exception of Pokemon, which is GameFreak incompetence to make a game that runs in accordance with hardware power.      

As a reference point Ragnarok has a 94 average review and users have it as a 8.3..  I mean BotW and Tears for the S2 are both higher than Ragnarok.  Perhaps I am missing something, but I don't see excessive "hate" for the S2.

TLoU2 has a meta of 93 and user of 5.9...  I just don't see anything unique to the Switch 2 on this one.  Seems normal.

Wow MKWorld has gone way up… that was sitting in the low 5s at launch and had been in the mid 6s last I checked. Fever checks out, maybe it just got berated at launch. ZA was in the 3s at launch lol but its significantly up it seems.

I’ll have to pull up some old threads. MC User Scores have trended upward especially now that more ppl are getting their hands on the system (so ppl who actly play these games are reviewing them, instead of it just solely being review bombers).

Jesus.  lows 5s or 6s for MK World is insane.  the game is good, really good  

I deleted Facebook over a decade ago. I don't see why people still use it. I got rid of Xshitter 3 years ago. It's a Nazi pedophile circle jerk filled with bots. Xshitter thrives on negative takes and pure hatred. So I never saw the outcry for Switch 2 either. Just Game Key Cards but not the console itself.

Grifter/ragebait culture has created a climate where every criticism or mildly controversial thing gets blown up into a shitstorm.

That said, I'm not saying people aren't allowed to be pissed off by say PS5's price hikes, online check-ins, or game key cards or what have you, there's still room for legitimate criticism, but unfortunately there's a whole economy built around constantly looking for the next thing to get fake-outraged over, just to get those clicks and ad revenue.

There's whole channels dedicated to this and sadly they often get a lot of views.

I just call them rage merchants. I keep saying just don't buy from them. Buying is just giving them attention. 

Why did you take so long to get rid of Twitter if you left Facebook over a decade ago? Twitter is a million times worse than any other social media combined.

I still use Facebook for some groups abouts games and so, and mostly what is aimed at me are memes or cat videos, so it's pretty quiet around there.

I deleted Instagram around one and a half year ago tho, I should leave Facebook too since the major reason I left Instagram is its owner decending in god complex madness and going into open subservience to the orange clown at the same time (really strange combination of power complex and still openly kissing someones feet), but as I said, for the purpose it serves to me it's pretty still ok, but I have never understood actively using Twitter.

I think I made a Twitter account there 15+ years ago, which I forgot the email, and them another a few years later and I'm sure I don't clock 48 hours total logged on it over all this years, and mostly it was just to try to engage with stuff going on in the gaming world at the time like asking Santa Monica to release the Dart DLC for Playstation All Star Battle Royale once it was discovered it would be DLC for it, before the game killed all DLCs after the second one.
