That's not what is being referred to; your social media feed may not have shown it to you due to variations in the algorithm, but during the months preceding and following Switch 2's launch, sites like Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, etc were absolutely flooded with a tsunami of hate, doom and misinformation about how Switch 2 was the most evil, anti-consumer console in history.

It was genuinely deranged, you'd think Nintendo had executed a puppy on stage the way people freaked out.

I would have to take you word for it.  I never signed up for Face, Twitter, etc.
