I will definitely buy this one sooner rather than later, I just am in a genuine first world predicament: Switch 2, Series X or PS5? I prefer buying physical but my PS5 is digital only (it was a gift), the Switch 2 version is game key card only and looks worse (albeit not at all bad) and Xbox I just in general don't like to support anymore. Decisions, decisions.

Care about framerate?  ps5 runs mostly locked 60 fps, while S2 hits 60 fps occasionally and can drop as low as 30 fps.  For those who don't care about fps, doesn't really matter.  But for those who care about fps, the ps5/series x/series s offer much better experience.    

This game is so great that it could become my favorite RE of all time. So just above RE4.

I rly enjoy RE world. Liked some of the books, animated TV shows and some of the movies, mostly first movie and Welcome to Raccoon City. But never got in to the games also most of other movies in between are rly bad

If that's truly the case, and you consider the other platforms, this may become the fastest selling Resident Evil game to date.

Yeah I think this and RE4R will both outsell RE2R and RE5 eventually.

Imagine PC/Playstation are both around 2m, maybe PlayStation is a bit more front loaded.

5M+ copies in one week is so good.

This game is going to be huge, I'm so happy for them.

Ever since RE2R it seems like the franchise has been so strong, even the RE3R that was met with quite strong critic over its quality sold a lot.

But even so, RE9 seems like an even bigger victory for them, specially as it has no gen 8 versions.

I would love to know the split as well, I would imagine PS and PC being neck to neck fighting for the lead, but did the Switch 2 version already outsell the XBS one?
