Forums - General - These words of the month are complete slop. I'ma crashout.

It's slop 4 57.14%

It's not slop 1 14.29%

Every month now people take on a new word and everyone starts using it, it eventually spikes and then people stop using apart from the older people who then Don it as part of their vernacular.

Slop has to be the worst one yet, people are using it for every thing and inserting it into every sentence without any nessessity whatsoever. I'm seriously going to crash out, man, this is so very not lit anymore.

This is worse than when there was a new meme every week or when the youth started wearing skinny jeans and middle aged men adopted the look.

It's certainly being overused right now, but yeah it'll quickly settle down.

The word "Peak" is also getting a bit much.

Remember Epic or That's Epic or This is Epic?

I'm trying not too.

We already have a word for crash out. It's called meltdown and it entered the vernacular back in 1986. I wonder why?

It was always this way. But we didn't have the Internet amplifying the idiots.

LOL "slop" today mean the same as "woke" , practically, it means everything i dont agree with. I completely lost any meaning

Kids have been doing that forever. Whether it's the word phat, fire, tho or the new one, chopped... it'll never change. Why it happens is simple enough: each generation wants to have their own things. From an adult's perspective, it's rather silly. But that's just how it is.
