Playing Shadow Labyrinth atm. Not the best Metroidvania Ive played, but its pretty decent for what it is. A dark spin on Pac-Man is cool.
Skyrim, never really got that far on the ps3 so lets go!
I would strongly recommend people stay away from Wuchang Fallen Feathers unless you're a die hard OG Souls fan who is aching for a souls game and even then do more research than taking recommendations or those higher reveiw scores as reason to buy. It is an awful piece of shit and it's just gets worse and worse, all the worst parts of Souls wound up in one game, a game where they confused difficulty with punishment or didn't think it was difficult enough (and it's not, it's easy souls with traps) so they slapped as much punishment in as possible to whittle your health bar. None of the systems work, the controls are sluggish, entire areas have status effects while just existing in them, there are QTE traps around mobs and bosses stun lovk which has to be QTE'd out of, the enemies are the same and areas have so many of the most unfun enemies to fight, the speed at which some bosses move does not match the game nor do any of the mechanics they put in to combat this speed and the animations are long and sluggish and not cancelable and because of this the combat has no flow and it never feels like you're learning a boss but learning how to manuaver around them, there is severe telegraphing issues but ontop of those there is blur from attacks and plenty of effects spam from you and the boss to block telegraphing entirely, levels and routes to new areas are choked at tiny points on the map with no, even subtle design language to ditect the player and the map is so busy with detail and ugly detail at that most of the time, loads of road blocks in a game that loves to loop so the roadblocks just become extremely confusing.
It is a game that makes me sick to play when all these factors combine, litterally makes one ill from the absolute sewage you have to wade through following a very juicy looking carot on a stick which makes it even worse cause the carot the game is dangling is actually very solid (think WuKongs progression with Dark Souls one map looping) so it makes you want to forgive it and push through.
They made the first ten hours really polished too and tricked the journos who often base their reviews on the first chunk of these game and made sure of this with a boss wall knowing many wouldn't pass it in a genre where people are afraid to speak on difficulty design. I have played 8 hours past that wall and the game is horrendous at times, like a bad fan made mod for Souls.

Quite possibly the best Mario Kart game yet. The Free Run mode is simply amazing.
Replaying this, and I’ll follow it with TOTK, The technical improvements provided by the Switch 2 hardware, especially the butter smooth frame-rate and improved resolution, are a godsend and borderline game changer. Those games are unmatched and remain incredibly addictive gameplay-wise to this day. I did the Wii U version 100% back then, redid it all on the Switch, and now again on the Switch 2, using the Switch 2 Pro Controller, although I wish they’d made it a little bigger. My hands feel a bit cramped compared to the PS5 DualSense Edge Controller. But it’s still a very good controller that I recommend to anyone who has the Switch 2. It has a premium feel and the integrated customizable G buttons are a very nice touch.
Lastly, I am finishing a play-through of the Spider-Man games on PS5 Pro (which I had already platinumed some time ago). Those games are so good. Did the first 2, and now nearing the end of SM2.

I was wrong about Soulstone Survivors, it's actually quite good and a great deal of fun once it gets going and you unlock a class that feels goid for you. I still don't know why it costs three times more than Vampire Survivors but I'd definetly recommend this on sale if you're a fan of the genre, I've played over a dozen of these types of game and I've played some awful stinkers but this one feels unique and very satisfying if way too grind heavy with really stupid goals for unlocking characters.
I am playing the Silent Hill 2 remake. Never played the original, but I am definitely becoming more and more a survival horror fan, and I am enjoying this remake so far. Very atmospheric and scary.
A small AA game called Pokemon Violet on NS2. So it looked and ran bad on NS and it still looks bad but it runs actually pretty good now. I have to say tho as much as I enjoyed Scarlett and it’s DLCs (especially the first one) on the NS and subsequently am enjoying Violet on the NS2 they don’t come close to Sword and Shield.
