I'm playing Sonic Unleashed Recompiled. It's a mod that makes Sonic Unleashed for Xbox 360 playable on PC.

I finished the PS2/Wii version back in the days, but I'm actually impressed by how better the HD version is. Not only because of the graphics, but it feels like a much more complete experience.

I genuinely wonder if something is wrong with me sometimes..

I did not expect Marathon to be as addictive as it is. My friends are still on Arc Raiders, which is a fun game, but leans a little too much into the casual PvE stuff. I mean, probably a good idea to have both sides of the spectrum.

From the cinematics, the new age cyberpunk visual aesthetic, or hell, the loading screens, the game just oozes coolness. The UESC AI is smart as hell and lethal, the maps are well designed, which demand you learn everything about them, and each of the Runners is fun to learn. On top of that, the factions are unique (I LOVE the black bar widescreen look of their intro cinematics) and they like to aura farm lol, but most importantly, the gameplay loop is AWESOME! Having dedicated objectives to complete (except MIDA's contracts) while looting feels like you're truly accomplishing something, the gunplay is S-tier (something Bungie never misses on), and everything to do with sound, whether that be the design or the soundtrack, is a masterpiece!

In-game menus/systems, and the UI can use a LOT of retuning, and we can use a generous increase in vault space (can't believe after years of complaining about that in Destiny, that same complaints needed to return in Marathon lol) but the most important things, Bungie knocked out of the park!

Completed Fresh Start

Is one of those powerwash clones but instead of cleaning buildings and cars you clean parts in nature and save animals...

It released as an a 19.99 game but was on sale almost immediately for 2.99.

So I had to get it,  performance is bad but for 2.99 I certainly could stomach it, a better performance would have made this game an easy 7/10

Just played a run on Civilization 6.
Also trying to play Nightmare Creatures 1 & 2 on PS1 Emulator because haven't completed them when i originally played them.

A man of culture again! AC 3 is a fantastic game iam pretty far into it and loved AC2 back when it came out.

Playing Resident Evil Requiem and having mixed feelings.

I liked RE7 but skipped Village. Got Requiem primarily because of the RE4esque Leon parts shown in the trailer. Was expecting that to be a significant part of the game based on what was said prerelease.

But it feels like I play for two hours or so of Grace segments before a couple of rooms and a miniboss fight with Leon which takes about 15 minutes. Then back to Grace.

And there's nothing wrong with Grace's parts, but the balance is not what I was expecting.

Edit: Seems like the second half of the game is more Leon focussed. Structure is a little weird but w/e at least i can kill zombies now.

This is a game based on a Manga Dorodoro. You play as a Samurai who at birth demons took 48 of his body parts. They were replaced with artificial parts. A little girl the titular name follows you on your journey to kill 48 bosses. Each one you kill you regain 1 body part. For example. When the game starts it's in black in white as he only sees with his senses. You kill a boss and he gains his eyesight back and the game becomes color. He has fake arms so when he takes them off he has sword arms. One arm doubles as a machine gun. His leg is a cannon. This game in a few ways reminds me of the Berserk PS2 game in structure. Sadly this game is super pricey. $400. Used to be dirt cheap. I only own the Japanese copy so playing in English on PCSX2. It's really cool tho. RED Entertainment is one of my fave devs from the PS2 era. Gungrave. Blood Will Tell. Bujingai as some examples. some of you might know them for the Sakura Wars series.
