Not sure I'd be brave enough to ask for Hawaiian pizza in Italy - I always imagine getting looks of absolute disgust by the restaurant staff and any Italians in ear shot.

It's pretty good, I order the same pizza wherever I go, grilled chicken, spinach, tomatoes, with alfredo sauce instead of marinara sauce.

I personally don't like it, but put whatever you like on your pizza, so it's a "yes" for me

Absolutely not, if it doesn't grow in Italy it doesn't belong on a pizza

You can grow pineapples in Italy though.

Or do you mean only stuff that's native to Italy? Guess that means no tomatoes either then!

You can actually grow Tomatoes on Italian soil outside, southern Italy produces a lot of Tomatoes. Pineapples not so much though. Italy does produce tomatoes, but imports basically all of its pineapples. You can grow them indoors, but not outdoors since Pineapples don't do well with drought or cold.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

I would never choose to have pineapple on my own pizza, but there's no sense in removing the option for anybody else. Pro-Choice.

Wrong. No one should have the choice of putting pineapple on pizza. Respect pizza feelings.

With Canadian Bacon, Ham, or Bacon? Yes. With almost anything else? No. Again, people can have it any capacity they want, but it seems pretty nasty to me if not paired with those few meats I mentioned.

Tomato is also a fruit.

Fruit is acceptable on pizza.

I remember an argument (it may well have been on here) opening up about Tomato being a fruit brought about because apparently the US department of agriculture deems Tomato's to be a vegetable.

lol Yes, do NOT order an Hawaiian pizza in Italy. I get it when I am abroad, but I NEVER order it in Italy

I'm find it ok ham and pineapple go together and are fine on an Hawaiian pizza, personally I don't like anchovies and while I like field mushrooms in some dishes on a pizza I prefer champignons my Pizza would be something like this obvious tomato base with Ham/Bacon Pepperoni and chicken with baby prawns champignons pineapple ,a small sprinkle of garlic and extra cheese topping .
