Forums - Politics Discussion - Will Liz Truss become the shortest-served PM in British history? Update: Yep!

Twats gone; he couldn't get enough MPs to vote for him. They said they had over 100 but no proof and public support wasn't 100+ either so it was probably a lie to try to get support from MPs but it looks like they didn't fall for his shit. Prime Minister Rishi it is.

I like how the press are spinning this as Boris having wisely and magnanimously decided to stand aside from a leadership election that he would have easily won, because he just cares about the country and the Tory party that much. No chance at all that he worked out he had no chance of getting the required number of MPs, or that if he did somehow win the leadership election, he'd have gotten crushed at the next general election.

A lot of people seem to be having trouble pulling out: Johnson, Musk, Herschel Walker...

Penny Mordaunt pulled out of the race. As a result, Rishi Sunak is now the last one in the race and thus assured to become the next PM.

We need an election to get the Tory scum out.

I hate the British media. They lied about Jeremy Corbyn for years and now they are propping up Johnson for no reason. Plus their transphobia is insane.

Yeah, I know. He's just a "poor, poor Billionaire".

Billionaire or not, he can't really do much worse than Truss now...

Not saying this will happen, but won't it be funny if his reign is shorter than Truss
