I like how the press are spinning this as Boris having wisely and magnanimously decided to stand aside from a leadership election that he would have easily won, because he just cares about the country and the Tory party that much. No chance at all that he worked out he had no chance of getting the required number of MPs, or that if he did somehow win the leadership election, he'd have gotten crushed at the next general election.

I hate the British media. They lied about Jeremy Corbyn for years and now they are propping up Johnson for no reason. Plus their transphobia is insane.
