If a person with a penis comes along and sticks that penis in the first person's butt, and both parties agree that this is the only type of sex they ever want to have, and the other is the only person they want to have it with, who is gay?

Labels can be quite useful in structuring (i.e. making sense of) things, but some problems would definitely not exist (at least to the extent they do now) if we didn't put labels on everything all the time.

You DO realize that as time goes on, we get more progressive, right? Like, the flow of time dictates that...sexuality and gender are better understood and far more complicated than we initially thought, that people of any gender or race or creed are equal and not inherently worse or better, and that we're changing things to be better for a wider group of people. 

You can't pretend issues don't exist because their persistence is inconvenient to you or doesn't effect you. I'm a blonde-haired, blue-eyed, Once-straight male in Canada, nobody's prejudiced against me, but that doesn't mean that I should ignore the bigotry that happens towards others.
