Lifetime all depends on the multiplayer. If they multiplayer is great I think they'll easily outsell the Witcher 3.

CD Projekt said the multiplayer will not be bundled with the base game, but will be sold as a standalone game instead. So I don’t see the multiplayer game boosting the singleplayer legs much personally.

I expect single player buyers to get the MP free and fir the MP to be sold separately for less than 60 but i could be wrong.

Hardest game to predict as I predict anywhere from 20m-50m.

I will go with LTD 35m.

Shikamaru: they didn't say that Cyberpunk had more than 1,5 mln preorders year ago. They just said that it's more than W3 at the same moment before launch.
Anyway, according to financial report for Septemeber 30th, digital PC preorders for Cyberpunk 2077 should have been around 1,6-1,8 mln copies.

For this one they will get the shooter crowd onboard , a lot of raging will happen when this game is not what they expect it to be.
But will be good if it can warm people for rpgs in general.

If it reviews as well as the hype leads us to believe, I see no reason why it can't open with 9-10 million first week and do 30 million+ LT.

That's assuming we ever get any reviews.

When I first checked weeks ago, the rumoured embargo drop date was a week before release, then last week everyone began saying it was 7th of December. Well, it's December 7th right now, and...

Apparently there's all sorts of funny business going on with review codes too. It's not making me concerned about the game, but it is annoying that I was looking forward to seeing some definitive opinions on the game before release, yet most reviewers don't even have the full game yet (from what I've read).

Some reviewers like ACG (who I usually love) have even got a bit sulky about it, saying they may not even bother because they didn't get the early review code and may not 'find/have time' to play it.

Damn, I didn't know it was that bad. Honestly, I am kind of surprised that they haven't sent proper review copies out. Seeing how long the game was in development and how bullish they were with showing it off for some time now, I am a bit worried about the end result now :| I hope we won't see the need for massive patches post-release.

Who says it's ever gonna get sold? Bit of a premature thread here.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Vivster: kinda premature statement from you, when the game had already 1,6-1,8 mln preorders sold over 2 months ago.
