Everything was sold... to the scalpers

Unfortunatelly a huge amount certainly was to scalpers.

Interesting. Let's see the numbers.

PS5: 115 million (was 105 million) Xbox Series S/X: 57 million (was 60 million, then 67 million)

PS4: 120 mil (was 100 then 130 million, then 122 million) Xbox One: 51 mil (was 50 then 55 mil)

According to my wife there are stories on Ebay of PS5's overheating en masse. Anti scalper FUD or the usual fan boy wars?Eurogamer isn't working, they would be reporting on it and probably debunk it like the vaping series X.

Well, I for one am happy that they were able to sell all of their 15 consoles.

Weird flex. It'd be very alarming if that wasn't the case...

I can believe PS5 is having a lot of issues, overheating isn't one though.

Well, that's almost always true for every console launch. Demand for a new piece of hardware will always outstirp demand, given that only a few millions are produced for the first few months.Especially for the holidays. The real test will begin in March/April.

Well, it all comes down to the Exclusive Games Lineup during 2021, and so far its way better than PS4 Lineup in 2014

Thats damn true. PS5`s first year is shaping up to be Sony`s best first year ever.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

No doubt ps5 will be number 1 gaming platform for core gamers of all ages

I'd say the best first years ever (Assuming PS5's lives up to hype) are the PS5 and Switch!

I wonder why they don't produce way more ..

There is nothing to wonder about.

Production capacities are limited, particularly into XMas season when China Inc. is fully occupied with manufacturing cheap plastic gadgets.
