Never played it. Never will. Not interested in the game ( although it looks ok for what it is, I guess ), and can't stand Epic or Tencent.

It's constantly getting new content and features. New modes, seasonal events, Rocket Pass stuff. Next update they're massively overhauling tournaments and are introducing new ranks. Also a new item system and more challenges. The game has been getting better every year.
The playerbase has been actually getting bigger in the past year and the esport is also getting better and better. I love this game and I would have predicted it's dead by next year, but by how things are going it looks like it's gonna go strong for at least the next 3 years.

Played it when it released on switch and I was hooked for a while. I think I got close to 60 hours, which is more time than I have played some full $60 retail releases. I even considered dropping some money on it just to support it, not that I was interested in any of the things they sell. But in the end I didn't and I'm glad, that money is better spent on games that need more support.
Never and I won't try it. Gameplay videos looked boring as hell (as most battle royales do).

I heard playing it on the iOS is all the rage now.
I have tried it out on the Switch to play with some Splatoon friends but it really isn't my cup of tea
