Except Nook doesn't charge interest and gives you unlimited time to pay it off. Not a very valuable lesson.

Gotta start sweet and nice with the kids.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

I freaking love Last Story, amazing game, easily one of the top 10 on Wii, and criminally overlooked.
I wasn't sure if it counted though; along with being third party developed, I'm not even sure if Nintendo own the IP or had much involvement beyond publishing, and even then they only published in in Japan and PAL territories, in NA it's third party developed and published.
Splatoon. Nintendo really did have the needed strength and ability to develop a good first party shooter.

Is it sad that I barely played anything from any of those franchises?
So I can't really answer this on behalf of an opinion on how much I 'like' any of these games. I'll answer this according to the most objective thing I can think of in regards to the thread topic; sales. Even though Wii Sports and some of the other Wii- games sold even more, its longevity is obviously limited, which means you can only give this title to Animal Crossing, just because of how much of a behemoth the series is.
I'd say Splatoon, edging out Chibi Robo for me.

I go with Splatoon. This is the prime example of how Nintendo operates, they take something and give it unique twist. That way they gave the entire online shooter genre a new and urgently needed coat of fresh paint while at the same time creating an entire sub-genre. No other developer would have the capacity to drop a colorful and light-hearted game to challenge an army of grey and brown clones that only follow one tried and true formula.

I must agree. Splatoon is the only shooter and the only competitive game I like, it's just nothing alike other game under the same "genre"

Well, there are a few other colourful and light-hearted shooters like Overwatch, but yeah, they don't have a fraction of the creativity or genius gameplay design of Splatoon in my opinion.

Well about Splatoon. Splatoon is better game no doubt but there is this on 360.
