So, how's your game cooking up?

Not all that better budget wise, but we already have narrowed our dev search to three companies.

    on 06 June 2016

    Sent the aplications already?

    on 06 June 2016

Only contacted them. The three seem to have decent in house teams and enough time, but I think we will have to draft artists from the Japanese doujin community itself, since none can create the artwork we want (and we're already an 8 man team here). As it stands though, our budget is met already by one company and the other two are way bigger, but we're closing in on them... Once we are at over half the budget, we might open a Kickstarter if we can't convince private investors...

    on 06 June 2016

Why not open the kickstarter regardless, see if it manages the deadlines and have it as primary/secondary funding income, depending on how the relationship with these companies ended up being?

    on 06 June 2016

The thing is, private funding might see a nosedive if I do stuff like that since some business show interest only if I have no other source of funding. I'd rather secure their funds and then open the Kickstarter to maximize the budget. We're talking 6M Euros, not dollars...

For me that would be Crimson Skies, KotOR (If that counts :-P ), Fable, Conker, Banjo, and since Ryuu mentioned it, Viva Pinata. I'd also love a new Ninja Gaiden. I believe 2 of them Xbox exclusives? Viva...

Nooooo, just highlighting the fact that being "fit" is not synonymous with being healthy. Not sure why that needed clarification as it was a simple concept, but ok.  Except 90% of the time being fit does correlate with health lol. You made...

SvennoJ said: vivster said: Obesity isn't a health issue, it's a lifestyle choice. In fact, obese people are actually healthier than fit people because they can fit a lot more health in them than those string bean fat shamers. For some, not for all. It's like saying cancer is a lifestyle choice. Obesity is generally not healthy, obesity starts at a bmi of 30 and over....
