12-14m seems reasonable enough for me.
While I enjoyed TLOU2, I felt TLOU1 was better.

Got a source for that second figure? If so I'll update the sales on the game page - https://www.vgchartz.com/game/80977/the-last-of-us-remastered/?region=All Last update we could find when adding the series' sales was 8.15 million for the PS3 version and 11.78 million for the PS4 remastered version. Edit - I think you've just misremembered what the 20 million announcement was for. It was for both versions combined, not the PS4 on its own. |
Yes, combined with TLOU:R sales are 20m.
About 10 million. Sales are mostly front-loaded, but will continue to be strong.

12-13 million for PS4.
I prefer the first game though this one is not far behind.
less than 7M. Now that the game is out there and everyone knows about the story it wont sell much.

TLOU 2 topped the charts 2 weeks in a row and selling like gangbusters in UK. Outselling all top 10 titles combined in June.
With no competition, I highly doubt it.
God of War sold 10 Million in a year despite opening 20 to 25% lower than TLoU2.
While the PS5 and inevitable PS5 updated version will cut the legs of this, I think it will still *at least* match God of War's trajectory for the next 6-12 months.
I prefer the original game and I expect this one to top out on PS4 at around 12 to 13 Million.
