Trying to figure out whose vote West will steal more from. He's a conservative, newer Christian supposedly, so he will appeal to that demographic which very much votes Republican, but he'd also be the only black man running for President which could steal some black votes (and like 90% of those go democrat).

Combine that with the fact that the nominee for Green Party is a socialist trying to steal disenfranchised Bernie voters and this election just went off the deep end. It's already going to be nuts with delayed results from absentee ballots as well as lack of physical voting (which will probably decrease overall voter turnout by a lot) and now we've got two third party candidates who will appeal to two rejected and overlooked groups substantially. No one has a clue whose going to win this thing and anyone that says so is fooling themselves. This is literally the most crazy election I've ever seen or studied and it could go so many directions.

Think about this. If either a third party candidate wins some states (unlikely) or if the margin of victory is small enough in some states, Trump could order emergency investigations and the Supreme Court could uphold that. If that is delayed until the Electoral College meets in December, then they would have to vote without those swing states, meaning they probably wouldn't have enough votes to send anyone over 270. Then it would go to the House of Representatives, which you'd think would be an advantage for Democrats, but that's not how it works. Whichever party has more reps in that state controls that state's 1 vote, which means Republicans would have more votes. And then on top of that, they don't even have to vote for Trump. They have to vote for one of the top three electoral college vote winners, so they could literally vote for Kanye (if he placed third) since he also appears to be a conservative, then the Senate votes for Vice President, either Pence or whoever Kanye's running mate would be.

We literally could have Kanye West as President, elected by the Republican dominated state delagate votes from the House of Representatives, in order to still have a conservative President and at the same time get away from Trump and that's hilarious!

You have a very vivid imagination.

Here's my estimation of what the Kanye West tweet changes: 0

He probably won't even file the paperwork to follow through and run and even if he does, he won't even get on the ballot in most states, let alone on a debate stage with Trump and Biden. Also, the average American has probably never even heard of him before and most people who have dislike him.

Agreed with all of this except that last part. Most Americans have definitely heard of him although he definitely isn't well liked.

Why must you kill our collective hopes and dreams?

I'm doing it for Kanye and his family's sake.  He's become quite delusional in recent years and positive talk of him running for president will only make it worse.

Yeah it's curious what being famous can do to a person ,even more sad to see all those hollywood childstars used as a product for years just to be laughed at later when they have a mental breakdown.

Good diplomatic skills, knowing when to be agreeable with advisors, and someone that everyone can stand behind as one people.
If the USA gets such a president i'm happy.

Well Biden crosses the first two. I don't think we will get a candidate that qualifies for number three for a good while until the polarization in America simmers down again. Last president America largely all stood behind was Regan.

So Ye did an interview with Forbes and is actually running. Hes trying to get into ballots coming up and the ones he missed l
He's spoken with Kushner and Biden.
His VP is pastor michelle tidball
Current advisors are his wife and Elon. Plans go make Elson jead of NASA or something along those lines.
Slofan is "YES" and is running under the Birthday party because when he wins we all win.
Kanye has lost trust in trump and calls his administration a big mess and doesn't like how he hid a in bunker.
He had COVID in February amd doesn't like how Trumps handling it.
If he loses 2020 he will run in 2024.

For all those who wonder what Kayne West's political positions are:

So pretty standard Republican stuff apart from being against the death penalty and supporting a more sustainable, environment-friendly economy.

He wants to give people land. If he uses that as one of his main policies he has my vote.
