Just 1 case in my state and 9 in the whole country for the past 24 hours.
Now we just gotta hold it together, not let our guard down and keep it suppressed until the vaccines arrive.
Hopefully we've learned our lessons from the second wave and there won't be a third.

Germany is beating previous records and still nothing is being done. I am disappointed.

Sounds like America.

Nah, we're still a few death threats to scientists away from that.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

42% positivity rate in the state of Wisconsin.

The mood has definitely changed here. It was getting more busy at the supermarket already, today was nothing like a regular Thursday morning. Line up around the corner through the freezer isle. People are not talking again inside, grim atmosphere. Limits imposed on items again plus a message playing they're doing their best to keep the shelves stocked. Most was still fine only the meat section was pretty empty.

Looks like people have realized we're in the middle of the second wave now, breaking records all across the country. However I guess online schooling has been received so badly half of my oldest son's online class is going back to school in a few weeks. (It's still a mess, my youngest son's teacher moved all the assignments around on Bright space since no one could keep track anymore, now no one can find them anymore lol)

Canada is setting new records, now country wide above the first wave.

Another vaccine candidate, Bharat Biotech's Covaxin, reaches Phase 3 trials. There are now 12 vaccines in this final stage.

Didn't Canada only have ~2500 new cases yesterday? for a country with like ~38m inhabitants thats not that bad.
That seems like nothing compaired to the 81,000+ that the US had yesterday.

I'm worried about europe..... France/UK/Spain/Italy/belgium...  its grim.

In denmark we hit over 800 cases yesterday (positivity rate like ~1,7%) (tiny country of ~5,8m)
Thankfully its not yet too bad here, but... yeah numbers are climbing, and its apparent they need to do more to restrict spread.
(which thankfully they did, yesterday... so hopefully a week from now numbers are down)

I caught the covid this month and luckily it was only like a light flu for me

595 cases in Luxembourg on Thursday, almost 3 times the highest peak during the first wave... shit...
