I just pre-ordered Series X. Enhanced Witcher III was the final nail in the coffin for me.

I thought pre orders weren't open?

Finnish retailer www.verkkokauppa.com is taking pre-orders now.

Done with Divinity: Original Sin 2. Another step up from an already great predecessor.

The playthrough took me about 42 hours, but the game offers much more if you want.
Tons of side quests, areas to explore and characters to talk to. Extremely high replayability due to the vast number of options to solve quests.

Every single line in the game is voiced (except your own answers), which is very impressive. I also really like that there's a narrator.

All side and main quests have interesting stories to tell.

Visually it's a pretty nice looking game. Considering the camera is usually a little higher up, you can see some good models and textures when zooming in. Effects are looking great as well.

Combat is very engaging and tactical. If you know that something is coming up, you can split your party in advance and send mages and archers to higher positions to gain a bigger target area and deal extra damage. Everything about it is very addicting. Talking about addictions, the loot system is awesome. There are so many equipment pieces to use and compare. It can take many minutes to find the best combination of equipment for your character but it's not boring at all.

The game's not perfect though. Performance-wise it can dip slightly (even on the X) but most noticeably is the screen tearing. At first I didn't notice it, but when you do you will come across it many many times.

I also think the game should be a little slower in introducing combat aspects. Even very very early on you will fight enemies that can cause elemental damage (which is a huge part of the game). I think it would've been nice if the focussed on melee and archery first and introduced magic and elemental grenades a little later.

The initial loading time can be really long (2 minutes or so) but once loaded you will rarely come across additional loading screens. Even quick travelling works in seconds.

Another thing I didn't like was the limited amount of save states you can have (10), but you can make up to three different additional Quicksave files and the game autosaves in three different slots as well so it's not that bad.

I don't really remember what gripes I had with the first Original Sin, considering I only gave it a 4/5 on TA (probably on the higher end). This game was just brilliant and I can't wait for Baldur's Gate 3.

9.5/10

You're really pushing me to play it before Wasteland 3. I think I'll move to it once I'm done With Kiwami 2. Let Inxile fix some of the bugs within the next two months.

If each console is 600, that makes getting the 3080 all the sweeter for me.

Well that Wasteland 3 patch was about the most useless thing ever. Didn't fix literally a single bug I've encountered so far.

I put 800e aside for SeX so if it ends up launching at 599e BOOM.. I just earned myself 200e.

Logic lvl100.

MS has to fix this marketing fast. Hopefully we get word on Series S in the next few days. Hopefully by Friday.

Series S is a steal. Might get that at that price and get the Series X when a pro revision comes out in the future.

Called $300. One hell of a price!
