The Switch can already post to Twitter and Facebook.  Personally, I preferred the WiiU & 3DS's Miiverse (which you also mentioned).  I posted to Miiverse almost daily, but have only posted to Facebook from Switch on rare occasions.

For me it's the other way round, I posted five times more on Twitter than I did on Miiverse, and I only used Miiverse's private messages a handful of times.

If you remember from the WiiU, the browser there could upload the active image to hosters, you could post it on Twitter, Facebook without the sharing option the Switch currently has, you only needed the browser. Having a Twitter app to do the pm's, posting, etc can be a substitute Miiverse service that they don't need to maintain, and it is also open to the public meaning more exposure for Nintendo.

For me, every time I posted to Miiverse, I knew that I was posting directly to fellow WiiU (or 3DS) owners.  And it was very easy to tell which people commenting back were playing the same games I was playing.  When it comes to Facebook, the majority of my Facebook friends couldn't care less about gaming (too busy with work, marriage, kids, or all of the above).  So, I'm 100x less likely to post at all now.

Pösting to twitter is fine, but I would like a link to Tumblr as well, I just want a place where I can easily archive most of my gae screenshots without spamming much.

I wanted folders, but thanks to the alphabetical sorting, I don't really need it anymore.

Add me to the list too. The first game and Park Patrol were masterpieces, absolutely fantastic. Another actual sequel would be my most hyped Switch game so far.

Another person of taste. I need Pikmin 4 in my life. Hell, I'd be happy with an HD port of 1 and 2.

Totally agree with your 1st post quote! Yourself, etecoon or me should create a Chibi robo appreciation thread!

I'll particpate gladly, but not sure I have enough time to do that thread justice.  If it doesn't show up sometime soon maybe I'll get to it and @you guys.  Haha.

I picked EShop music in the poll, but really I just want a better EShop. Better loading, more well organized. I want more separation from the crap. It's so hard to really get a sense of the quality titles and there are too many to scroll through. I think there show be a staff picks section and a user pick section. You should be able to make a top 10 and see your friends' top 10, etc. There should also be guest top 10s by developers and celebrities.

I'll try and do an appreciation thread in the next couple of days. Hope it doesn't become a wasteland though :(

DON'T WIN ME CHIBI BUDDY DON'T WIN ME.

ANIMAL CROSSING NEW LEAF FRIEND CODE:- 5129 1175 1029. MESSAGE ME.
ANDY MURRAY:- GRAND SLAM WINNER!

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

Oh, it will! But it'll be a great OFFICIAL CHIBI ROBO thread when the sequel gets announced at E3.

Virtual Console by a mile. Nintendo really pissed me off by not continueing this. What is the point of buying digital if you can't own your games forever? The fact that they've canceled the Virtual Console makes me want to go pure physical even more.

In Spain we call this a sea bream conversation. You are talking about your Facebook experience while I mention my Twitter one, both social networks are not the same. You can be anonymous in Twitter while Facebook you need to be yourself. In Twitter you can follow Nintendo minded people and they can follow you back, it's just that all your post are open to the whole internet.

Either way, my point was that a browser is able to open all these online services without the need of waiting for individual apps, and that Nintendo did this already with the WiiU (even made a thread on this in the past). A browser is what the Switch needs

I absolutely adore my Switch, but goddamn are the analog sticks on the Joy-Cons horrible.

I'm fine with them being small, but the drifting issue is just inexcusable given their price point.
