I'm betting on India as the true competitor of China. People who still look to the US should consider fixing their hopes on them instead and trying to help India catch up. THEY are the ones who can keep watch, but they need to be prosperous for that.

As much as it hurts, "brown" people are the only ones who have the manpower to be a viable contender. As mentioned already, the world already wants to move away from China both because of tightening political screws and also costs (China's economy is pretty much entering the post-industrial state, and while plenty of industry is going to go on running, it won't be the world's factory anymore).

I don't think the politics of the US are particularly unusual. Eastern Europe and Subsaharan Africa are filled with that sort of nationalistic Christian autocrat wannabes, and more recently the disease has spread to Latin America coinciding with the rise of Evangelicalism.

Blame the two-party system for potentializing that sort of rhetoric from ~ 20% of the population to something that is able to win elections...

True, when you lower the standard to actual banana republics then yeah, politics of the US are not unusual anymore. Compared to first world countries though...

True banana tier would still be ten times worse, like Bolivia 2019, which is a close analog, thematically.

This transition is certainly the worst since 1932 and probably 1876, but things like these have happened before in places like Italy or South Korea. It's more of a question of a convoluted and archaic political system enabling that sort of shenanigans. Opportunity makes the thief and all that.

Trump has been permanently banned from Twitter: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/live/2021/jan/08/donald-trump-capitol-impeachment-joe-biden-election-coronavirus-covid-live-updates

It would seem there are consequences for inciting a mob to storm congress. I'm sure the usual suspects will claim this is a violation of free speech, but sites like Twitter do not owe Trump a platform, especially if he's going to misuse it to incite violence and insurrection.

Barbarian and his buddy I'm not so sure about based on what's been brought up and shown about them and Antifa. Others are kinda suspect as well, and yes, I've seen the 'fact checks'.

Oh so you've seen the fact checks that you're sharing bullshit but still want to post it? I appreciate you letting me know I'm wasting my time before hand.

The PhillyAntifa.org label is because it's a picture from the organization trying to identify nazis. The guy with horns is a well known Qanon guy who's a constant fixture at arizona protests.

What's next, Eric? You want to talk about 30,000 dead voters in Georgia?

This is much more reasonable. I'm glad you decided to reconsider.

It's my opinion that they will make entities pay which would indirectly warn others. My links showed there's reason to believe they will do so based on past and recent Dems and what they've said they'd like to do going forward as to teaching entities a lesson, warning others that certain things will not be tolerated by them going forward.

You are skipping the first question. We can get to the links in a moment, but it's important to establish this point. Again, please give me a yes or a no.

Does entities include states and have Democrats punished states in the past for not going along with their agenda when they've had control over both houses and the presidency?

I'm not. You're asking for a yes or no answer when it's not that simple in this regard. Yes or no answers tend to get asked for certain reasons coincidentally and I understand why, which is why I made it clear it was an opinion, like everyone's opinion's in here.

Even by answering yes, I couldn't directly point to anything that proves it beyond reasonable doubt because Dems nor the media are dumb enough to flat out say that they are doing something to specifically make a part of the Gov pay. Most of the time individuals who opposed my point wouldn't accept it either way.

Entities would basically include anything that could be made to pay. My point about making you pay never specified states, though states was mentioned in there because it was related, though it didn't directly mean each state as a sole separate entity. Making many individuals pay, especially of a certain political mindset, in a state with that same political leaning based on it's people, as per widespread understanding, wouldn't be any different as per what was meant.

"Prepare for the left's revenge." The odds this video and title would be broadcast today is quite coincidental. Made me chuckle. Though as the title states, prepare. The vid only covers a few things in general, like censorship, etc, in bits here and there throughout, but also includes a bunch of other non related topics. Typically this means there will be another episode not to far down the road that takes this thought process further being much more in depth. I'd suggest you don't bother going through any of it because it doesn't have anything tied to your specific question.

Guess I was giving you too much credit then. So you read that you were wrong and still wanted to share that with the community? Just felt like wasting people's time?

I honestly wish they would wait the charge the suspects accused of storming the capitol until after Biden takes office. Only because these are federal crimes and I fear Trump will pardon them on his way out. He has shown craven indifference towards using his pardon power to grant clemency to people who have committed heinous crimes as long as they have demonstrated loyalty to him.

That being said, these people are likely dangerous so I understand the need to get them off the streets.

Truth be told, Twitter will likely decline as a platform. They don't want to admit it, but Trump was a big draw for Twitter. People forget the site was not expected to survive back in 2015 and 2016. Trump winning the presidency gave it a new life because lefties could complain on Trump's twitter feed. Now that's gone. Really, the site is going to start to dry up and will likely turn into Tumblr. Once the porn is banned, the site dies. Banning Trump wont be good for business.

Trump? Banned at Twitter, and twitch. Suspended (most likely indefinitely) at Facebook/Instragram. I think banned on youtube.

Parler? Dropped from apple AND google.

Oh and "DonaldTrump" the subreddit was banned at reddit.

Hate ain't great.
