Here's me tagging !

I feel dumb having to edit things as I keep remembering the games I've played and enjoyed. There are a lot of games (AAA or smaller) that I've enjoyed over the years so ranking them in a top 50 format has been difficult for me. So forgive me as I have kept editing and changing the order of things for my list.

Next year, though, I am definitely gonna add Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. There are games like Xenoblade Chronicles 2 that I really wanted to add into the top 50, but I wanted to get into the Torna DLC before I get an idea where to rank it. XC2 on its own is an incredible experience that I would definitely put in the top 50, but as I said, I hope to see where it ranks when I play close to everything (including DLC).

And although I love the Pokemon franchise since the beginning, I've had a hard time thinking about where the mainline games rank overall. That's why I left them out of my list for now. Hopefully, I'll get it together next year.

~ S.Peelman's Top 50 Best Video Games of All Times 2018: ~

Another year, another top 50 list. These are S.Peelman's most favorite games of all-time. Games can be on this list simply because they are excellent and made an impression on me due to quality, but they can also be here because they gave me countless hours of fun, or had a deeper impact on myself or me as a gamer. The very best games did all of those things, and that is worth a whole lot.

When a game spans multiple consoles, only those on which I played the game are mentioned, alongside the system a game originally released on. The year of release is based on the PAL releases of the original game, which really only really makes a difference in a handful of older games.

This year there will be one new entry in the list (*). This however isn't a new game per-se. Aside from it, there are three games that return (R) to the list. This means that four games are different compared to last year. Most of the rest of the list has been shuffled to suit my updated feelings about all these games.
