Are people really giving a 1?

It was short, but was what they showed bad? Get the fuck out of here lol. Sony's was worse.

As for my score, a 7/10. They over-explained Smash and showed too little else. Smash and FE do look dope though

Final ranking

1 - MS
2 - Ubisoft
3 - Bethesda
4 - Nintendo
5 - Sony
6 - SE
7 - EA

Not counting PC, limited run or devolver. They were all good and fun.

E3 final rating: 6,5/10. I am satisfied as a new Xbox owner.

Hmm pretty much on point my pony friend

Now we know Nintendo's E3 2019 will be the best thing ever and will have Pikmin 4.

Yup, I told you yesterday, remember? xD They confirmed they will have an event later this year (probably december) to showcase 2019 games, so that's where Pikmin 4 will probably pop up.

People need to be less dramatic because they are showing just what's coming this year (aside from FE, which was probably delayed to be honest).

Metroid, Bayonetta, Pikmin, Pokémon, Fire Emblem, SMT & Co will all come out in 2019. Should be even better than 2017.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Finished it and honestly looks like Nintendo is still stuck in the gamecube generation.

Besides Zelda and 3d Mario they aren't using the technology at hand.

I can agree that Fire Emblem looks like your typical anime game (meaning it looks below average). but the rest shown by Nintendo (Smash and Mario Party) definitely looked great. Super Mario Party looked really polished, better than the game you mentioned (Oddyssey) actually. Btw, Smash is 1080p@60fps.

You will be able to see more pretty games at event they announced focused on 2019 btw.

Lots of hyperbole here. Lmao at people saying the Switch is doomed because of this and saying Smash Ultimate is adding nothing new when we don't even know about all the features it's adding yet. Lots of you seem to have forgotten how horrible 2008 and 2015 were for Nintendo.

Smash, Mario Party and Fire Emblem look good, not much else but they clearly said this was 2018 focused beforehand, 6/10. It was about what I was expecting but nothing more. A bit boring but the announcements were generally all good.

The leaking killed a few announcements and the sudden end into the treehouse after all that time spent on smash, it felt incomplete. However I think we'll be seeing more bits of information come out throughout the conference. I am kind of glad I didn't see a lot of games they already mentioned multiple times and the DLC for Xenoblade 2, along with Fire Emblem and a few other titles made the event quite enjoyable overall for me. 7/10

4 outta 10.

This was one of the weakest presentations of E3 2018.

I think Nintendo should have shown some of their 2019 games. Even a few cinematics to hold people over and keep themselves in the mind of gamers. My worry is the negative impact that this E3 showing will have on Switch sales. I am still not convinced the Let's Go Pokemon (a controversial game) and Smash will be enough to maintain last year's sales levels, much less make it close to their 20 million goal (right now I honestly would not be surprised if we get sales of slightly above 10 million). What's more is that much of what I want seems to be in 2019, and I would hate for weak console sales to impact Nintendo's future software plans for Switch. I hope that the Smash + Pokemon and support from previous year's evergreen games and the current third-party games and the Wii U ports is enough to at least maintain sales at 2017 levels; in case that does not end up being the case, then I hope Nintendo has some aggressive bundles and price cuts planned going into the holidays.

Sorry but apart from indies, who!? Why aren't they backing Nintendo today?

If I had to guess, porting takes time but DBZ is coming as is Fortnite. The latter is out today, I believe. This just off the top of my head.

Honestly I wouldn't bother, they are one of the biggest brickwall users on the site. They will up play the Vita when it was doing horrible than try to be positive about Switch and in the past the 3DS. Even if you point at games being brought over and released. It does not matter. To them it is like they have zero third party support. Like just look at their wording "third party aren't interested at all"  which is clearly hyperbole and they know it. One could argue that not all third party on board, but to act like none are interested is clearly hyperbole.

This also very comical if you saw that they stated "going forward they didn't want biases" since they were doing reviews and other things when they joined the discord server.  Funny enough I gave them fresh start too. I am willing to give people benefit of the doubt when they say that they do not want strong biases clouding them.

Like this was weak E3 from both Sony and Nintendo in my mind, but I still cannot believe certain users that only show up to act like "I told you so", and ignore things all together.

That was... empty! Empty of everything that could build a solid future for the Switch.
- There's no effort put in first party games, Smash Ultimate is SmashU ver. 2.0, FE 3 Houses looks incredibly poor in terms of graphics even compared to small-budget PS4 RPGs
- No Bayonetta, no Metroid Prime 4
- Paywall for Mew is just shameful
- 3rd parties aren't interested at all. I've been saying that 3rd party sales haven't been good on Switch and no one believed me. Here's the result today : just 3 new games including 2 ports. End of year is barren as hell.

Seriously, how can anyone say that Switch can have sustainable success now?

Dragon Ball FighterZ, Daemon X Machina, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Super Mario Party, Starlink, Fortnite, Octopath Traveller... Yeah, pretty grim.

1. If you want to dislike Nintendo IPs, that's fine. But at least be informed when you do it. There's been a number of changes to the mechanics that any fan could explain to you, but I think I'd rather let you squirm trying to figure out what they are. Here's a hint: they talked about it in the direct... If you watched it. So no, SSBU isn't SSB4. Also, Home Console hardware will always yield better graphical results than handheld harsware, so I'm not sure what you're trying to prove with comparing PS4 and Switch graphics.

2. Not talking about Bayo3 was silly, but MP4 is still clearly in early development stages. If they showed anything, it'd be a pre-rendered trailer, and you'd still complain.

3. Mew has always required special procedures to acquire, and just because he's only available when purchasing something you should probably get for the game anyway doesn't mean he won't be at GameStop later.

4. This last point is just ignorance. If anything, it would be clear from the trailer reel that 3rd Parties are more interested now than ever before, what with Dark Souls, FighterZ, and whatnot all arriving on Switch.
