How can we let our favorite devs stop themselfs from SJW pandering ? I hope Rockstar ,Ubisoft and others learn that the gamers voices are louder than the SJW's

The weird thing is, it's all about voting with the wallet at the end of the day, and no protesting SJW would ever be interested in buying this game even if every fighter featured was a non specifically gendered rock.

All this can do is potentially cost them sales from people who would buy Dead or Alive for what the game series is known for, it's always said to be far easier to retain a customer than win over a new person to your product, it's marketing 101.

Fairly sure I won't be buying it anyways as can be seen in my Sig which features 4 versions of Street fighter in my latest played games... and USF4 is my last played game on Steam I think lol.

Did enjoy the Vita Version of ... I want to say DoA5 though, and the 3ds had a good port very early in that systems life, so I'm not against DoA but if I buy one I know what I'm getting it for.

I'm surprised Tecmo Koei still has money. Dead or Alive 5, it's many iterations and Ninja Gaiden 3 were flops.

Wish these 3D fighters had actual 3 dimensional fighting, rather than left and right fights.

up and down in DoA walks into the background or foreground, only diagonally up/forward/back jumps, there's quite a lot of movement and fighting in 3d in the games, when it comes to stages as well a lot of them feature hazards where you will want to navigate your character away from and line up your rival to get them caught there or knocked off certain points.

DLC... The strange part is I can't even tell if I'm joking, DOA 5 has one of the (if not THE) most dlc of any game ever. But it also has the Dynasty Warriors, Hyrule Warriors, Fatal Frame (which 5 just released 2-3 years ago).

By not buying their games so that they will make losses.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Does this seem really bland.... or is it just me? something just seems abit off, or not as enticing as you'd expect?

I don't know if I'm feeling the same as you, but for me it looks too... realistic. Games are escapism and I actually liked DoA for being a bit silly. Now it seems boring. Well, my view at least. I'm probably being an outlier, most people will like that the added realism makes it more brutal. I'm not so much into violence porn.

All games are announced out of nowhere right?

there are hands on previews with IGN for this.

Did anybody read this?

The game director basically says he wanted to build this game for scrubs who are only good at mobile games, built around just tapping the screen or pushing one button.

Damn, you're right! This is a lot more concerning than the lesser sex appeal. What he says is very confusing, since he reckons it's perfect for newcomers but also very risky to use randomly. DOA5 balance was good, I wish they kept that. I certainly don't want someone to beat me with a single-button super attack "feeling like a pro". There should be official lobbies without this.

I remember that SoulCalibur VI is going to feature something similar. Where is this genre going, srly?

Surprised at the lack of Switch version btw. I thought KT was 100% behind Ninty...

Exactly why I won't be buying. No way will I let them know that their pandering is acceptable, which is what you would be telling them with your purchase. Any game purchase is a corporate stamp of approval in and of itself, they're mutually inclusive.

Was anyone really excited waiting for thi to be revealed?

I don't think anybody was expecting it this soon. When they announced the end of DoA 5 support last year, they did this poorly thought out farewell video that had half the fanbase thinking that the series was over for good, and the other half thinking that it would be at least a few years before DoA 6. Very few would have expected DoA 6 to be announced within 1 year of that farewell video.

I was talking more about the franchise not having many fans.
