New president seems promising

All of those seem very promising, especially the 'expert in marketing' part.
People are putting too much credit on him, the switch turn around was planned and put in execution before his presidency. He just didn't screwed anything and keep the momentum rolling.
We reap what we sow
46 years old, so pretty young by CEO standards
Also, these changes concern me a bit:
4. Anticipated new Directors・Director (excluding a Director as an Audit and Supervisory Committee Member) Director Satoru Shibata(Current: Executive Officer President, Nintendo of Europe GmbH)
Senior Executive Officer Satoru Shibata (Current: Executive Officer President, Nintendo of Europe GmbH)
Will he still be President of Nintendo Europe?

Well we can say he is a gamer and not just a suit
Nintendo's incoming CEO Furukawa said his recent favorite game is "Golf Story."

"I said I wanted Chibi Robo back.... but I DIDN'T SAY I WANTED EVERY GAME TO BE CHIBI ROBO!!!"
"I would like to announce that Metroid Prime 4 is being developed by Valve. Also, it's delayed. See you when Switch 2 launches!!!" - Not Kimishima(a.k.a. Furukawa "Fuck U Wa")
He is ....
To be fair he was just current solution after Iwata passed away, and he did great job.

Apparently he will step down and take a more Global role with Nintendo, whatever that means lol

Oh no, I love Shibata as NoE-director, he beats Reggie in every aspect.
Apparently, Takahashi and Koizumi, the two men behind the development of the Switch, are also getting promoted. Shinya Takahashi will be Senior Managing Executive Officer, becoming the third highest ranked employee in Nintendo, behind Shigeru Miyamoto and new President Shuntaro Furukawa.
Yoshiaki Koizumi will become an Executive Officer on the board of directors.
