Anyone with their eyes even half open could see that, and nothing in the memo was new. It just basically confirmed everything we knew.

But the media/democrats are doing a great job of twisting this already to their way. Before this came out, they were fighting tooth and nail to have it not released. (they had seen it mind you before release. Well media hadn't) But now that it is out they are saying its a joke, nothing, ect. Why did they fight so hard for it to be not released if it was nothing?

But it kind of reminds me of in tv shows or cartoons when someone does something bad or lies and another character tries their best to prove that they were lying or they did something bad. It takes that person forever to do so and by the time he does finally prove it, the guilty person just says something like "Are you still on about that, we have moved on to other things" and that's the end of it. No one cares that the person was found guilty/liar, they just laugh at the person having spent so much time proving it and go on hanging out with the cool guy.

Don't bother. The media and dems are playing this whole memo thing off like its all stuff we already knew and no big bombshell.

You know, ignoring the fact that they were saying up until this point that this was all fake news.

But since the republicans have been clamoring about this since Jan 2017, it doesn't feel like a bombshell. Most people who see memo will just go, "oh its that stupid dossier stuff again /ignore" Doesn't matter that they finally proved what they were saying it true, to the general public, they are just saying the same thing.

We are in such a political nightmare these days that most citizens are basically like football fans in regards to politics. They don't care what their team does. If they win/lose, cheat, ect. They will still cheer their team on and bash the other teams as being horrible. People who are really into politics are the same. Democrats or Republicans are their team. They want them to win. They don't care about anything else, just the end result.

I have already addressed that. They needed a reason to CONTINUE the investigation. As it currently was, they had ran out of time and had seemingly not enough proof to continue spying on the person/people.

This dossier was what let them continue to spy. Without the dossier, they would have had to stop.

Think of it as being arrested, but if they don't bring charges up within 48 hours, they have ot let you go. They can't hold you forever while they try and find proof or evidence of a wrong doing you might have done. The FBI had started investigating him, yet they needed to have reason to continue investigating him. They used this dossier. Without it, they would have had to stop. Seeing as they left out such crucial details as to how this dossier was funded, and such one could say that the 'warrant' was illegally obtained.

I would not be surprised if that guy who was under investigation is able to get all evidence that was acquired during that time to be thrown out as illegally obtained.

Well, this was a desperate thread. This memo was a big, fat piece of smoke. It doesn't contain any news whatsoever, so why the big fuss?? It doesn't incriminate Obama or Clinton, it doesn't incriminate the FBI. It only further incriminate Carter, so this backfired in a great, hilarious way.

Not to take a side, but I found it quite weird on how the Democrats overreacted (Pelosi for example) on the memo being released beforehand yet now acting like it was nothing of importance? While it may not seem like anything new was shared, it did connect a few dots here and there.
