Forums - Nintendo - Would you buy a Resident Evil 7 Switch port?

Nah. I love RER 1 and 2 on Switch but I doubt I'll ever play RE7 in any form besides VR. I'm not against the port. I just wouldn't buy it.

How scary was it? I mean on vr

It felt like I was really there. Some times my blood felt like it ran cold with fear. You could hear something over your right shoulder, turn your head and see it with your peripheral vision. Aiming was insanely fast and precise, too.

Nah. I am more interested in Resident Evil 4 then the 7th game. It doesn't look interesting.

Tag:I'm not bias towards Nintendo. You just think that way (Admin note - it's "biased".  Not "bias")
(killeryoshis note - Who put that there ?)
Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems! UPDATE: This is no longer true. 2nd UPDATE: I have no Switch 2. I am now behind

Do Not Click here or else I will call on the eye of shining justice on you.

I would not even think about it and buy it.

Halo :)

As I don't have it on the PS4 yet, I would pick a Switch version in a heartbeat. If I had already bought it, I wouldn't care.

This thread is full of RE4. Don't you already have the game on at least one other platformer? (For most of you I expect at least 2 platforms)
I don't really get it. I hope you aren't the same folk that complain about HD remasters, yearly sports games or CoD.

RE7 would actually be a new(-ish) game, while RE4 is playable on every toaster.

I don't have any interest in the game, at all.

The game should not be, too, hard to port to the Switch at 30FPS.
I don't know how well it would sell on the Switch, but I don't doubt it would make its money back.
Releasing RE7 on the Switch could be very beneficial to the overall ecosystem and public perception of the machine.

Despite having no intent to buy such a product, I would like to see it ported.

No.

I played Resident Evil when it first launched on PS1 and became a massive fan of the franchise until RE4 when it became something entirely different. RE7, like RE4 before it, is not, in any way, shape or form, a Resident Evil game. It is a new IP with the name Resident Evil and some themes slapped on to sell more copies.

You clearly haven’t played the game, and center your opinion of it on the change from third person to first person gameplay.

Because I, too, have been a fan of the series since 1997, and VII is the closest to the roots the games have been since Code: Veronica.

Nah, these games are too scary for me.

Nope I would prefer the PSVR edition on PS4Pro.
