Made it to the Great Mines in Metroid Prime 4. Probably the scariest area of the game, it felt like that old Vin Diesel movie Pitch Black.

Prediction: Star Fox to be revealed the last week of April. Before Golden Week begins that Wednesday. JP has their Mario Galaxy movie premiere on the Friday directly prior, and Star Fox 64 has its JP anniversary that same week.

Calling it now!

Yeah that and the Ice Belt research base were the best parts of the game for me.

I bought Metroid Prime 4 just this morning. Found it funny how different the prices were for the physical versions of this game (£30) versus Kirby (£45)...

Particularly because in the UK (and everywhere bar Japan from my understanding) Kirby has objectively sold worse. Metroid debuted high in NPD and UK charts and remained in the charts for longer. Curious what the cause of the difference in price is. Over shipping of Metroid whereas Kirby got limited shipments? Nintendo being more protective of the Kirby brand etc?

Metroid is niche and has never sold particularly well so Nintendo may have figured it needed all the help it could get, while Kirby sells better so they probably reasoned there was more demand for it, hence a higher price.

Hmm, but they can see it's real time sales. Metroid Prime 4 has charted higher than Kirby in Every NPD and UK chart since it's release. In fact Kibry has spent 1 week in the UK top 40, whereas Metroid Prime 4 has spent about 8. On the digital storefront this applies even more so... so although it's possible they're navigating price on this assumption, it's just strikes me as weird they're not basing it of actual real data... which is why I was thinking it could be a brand thing. Kirby has a stronger association with Nintendo/Mario etc for the masses, so they may not want to be shilling it out for cheap.

One thing that just dawned on me though, even if Kirby was only big in Japan, lowering prices elsewhere may also cause Japanese sale prices to take a hit (reselling of imports etc)
