Comparing (in some cases) a sub-100 dollar portable to a full home console is dubious at best. I stand by what I said. The Pro thing is bad for business. Why buy a PS5 when in 2-3 years, the REAL PS5 will launch? Just hold onto your PS4 a little longer. It'll happen if Sony doesn't state that a Pro model won't be happening again.

Because the Pro is complementary and not ment as replacement. Compared to the Scorpio... *c* ... i mean XBOX it's just a minor upgrade with the goal to accompany 4k on its rise.

I figured this was always obvious. I'm just glad to hear it won't be for a while, meaning we can finally put those "2018 PS5!" rumors to rest. Also glad to see that Sony has a lot of confidence in both the PS4 and Pro going forward. The power of X ain't slowing down their train 😉

I anticipate better GPU, CPU, and more RAM which will allow for more technically demanding titles and advanced graphics.

This is just a guess though, I could be completely wrong.

I had no doubt they would. And I think Ms will likely release a new xbox too. There is clearly still huge demand for platforms. I don't see that stopping now

Hopefully we can get the PS5 in 2018, we need to stop limiting our games to the jaguar.

I remember they said ps5 would be on a new architecture. Arm.? Or they are referring to jaguar processor, and stick with x86?
Cartridges?
Full powerhouse investment?
4k (even checkerboarded) is good enough for the next 10 years or more. They don't need something far superior that xbox one X, aka a tradictional 8x geracional leap.
16 ram, 8 to 10tflops, but a much better processor than jaguar. Would be fine for next 10 years. And a small box and good price would be nice. A ps5 pro could come latter for graphic fags.
