I personally found the majority of Sony's E3 extremly boring, and the reasons are simples, I do not care about their games and consoles... Guess what, same goes the other way :)

Then why do you even bother to watch it? Honest quesion. If you have no interest in PS games and consoles, why bother to waste your time with the conference and then waste everyone elses time with a preconcieved analysis of said conference?

And no it doesnt go the other way. I may like MS the least of the big 3 but I think they have pretty competent conferences which I look forward to watching. But there is no denying that especially last year, Sony had a conference that was pretty much unmatched.

Exclusives are boring. LOL

I guess Microsoft has more services and controllers.

Just out of curiosity, when did Microsoft "win" E3 the last time?

Not that it really matters but still.

I don't think they can, no matter what they do, this gen is too far gone for them.

Microsoft has gone all year without a console defining exclusive. Forget that....they havent even landed a generation defining IP. First gen they bought bungie and got Halo and second gen they funded Gears. They need to find a third party since thats where they get their genre defining exclusives from and quick. I heard E3 will show a new IP. Lets hope its true.

This can go both ways. On one hand, you could say that other Xbox exclusives (except the big 3) don't sell well because they aren't good games, but on the other hand you can wonder if the general Xbox audience even wants other exclusives than Halo, Forza or Gears. Microsoft marketed the crap out of Quantum Break, but that eventually didn't sell nearly as well as one of the regular titles would.

Personally, I don't think Microsoft can turn tides with any kind of exclusives. Gamers aren't gonna switch from the PS to the Xbox because of 1 or 2 games, and sales show that current owners want the usual suspects. And if you ask me, there's probably gonna be a new Forza with Scorpio, and that'll be the big exclusive. Except the ones we already know of: Sea of Thieves, Crackdown, State of Decay,...

The scorpio is really worth it

By burning down Nintendo's and Sony's booths.

It's the only way they can win.

"lol". I do.

I mean I'm sorry but you are proving my point. I can tell you that Microsoft fans have a very different oppinion than Sony enthusiasts and I have hard time to comprehend how some people really believe they are "right" instead of understanding that at the end it is all relative and subjective.

So yes, you can argue as much as you want :) Like the majority of the Sony enthusiasts or anti Microsoft, who are "not interrested" you defintely think Sony's E3 are close to heaven... While Microsoft enthusiasts have usually a very different oppinion. I personally found the majority of Sony's E3 extremly boring, and the reasons are simples, I do not care about their games and consoles... Guess what, same goes the other way :)

I can tell you that other than maybe 2015 where it has nothing to do with content at the end, the majority of Xbox fans will tell you Microsoft enthusiasts will tell you Microsoft E3s were the best.

I mean this is dead end argument and you are just proving out our point here anyway. At the end all conference will be the best for the ones who are expecting something out of it for themselves and getting it... Sony fans do not care at all about Microsoft and vice-et-versa... Both side will find their conference (unless it is really really really bad which is never the case) to be the best and this is simple logic.

At the moment the Play Station Four vs Xbox One usebase is like what? 65%-35%, well I can garantee you the results wil be about the same in "who won the E3" polls... Again, simple logic and nothing objective at the end :)

So according to your logic sony won e3 2006? and nintendo won every e3 last gen?

Accordic to what logic? Maybe you want to re-read what I said and get off your horse :)

Accordic to my "logic", everybody won their E3 to their fan base... Or I assume for you, having the most fan voting a poll = win? Well then by your logic, I guess so.

Why would I not watch them? While I'm not intested into PS games or console that much, I have one at home and I still like to watch the whole E3 conference and the majority of what they show are multi-platform games anyway so it is far from a behind a waste of time. And finding Sony conference not so amazing does not make it a bad conference (that's also a difference between being a fan or enthusiast of one versus hating the other up to the point of making a lot of non-sense). I do not hate Sony but their gaming platform is just not appealing to me.

Yah sure, no denying, the majority of Xbox fans can tell you otherwise and the majority of Sony fans will also tell you that what you are saying are "facts" right? If you say so :)

I don't think xbox can win or do well anymore, sorry. It has hardly no exclusives compared to Sony and especially Nintendo, and now that Nintendo has returned to being a powerhouse, xbox is going to stay in 3rd for a while and probably be in 3rd by a good amount by the end of this generation.

Unless they can buy up MULTIPLE 3rd party studios or create like 10 internal ones to create a ton of new ips, they are done. I say this having previously owned a 360 and playing Halo Reach like crazy on it (I don't hate xbox or its games).

Well you are actually proving our point very well :)

Because they show exclusives, de-facto it is a the best conference? Nope, I'm sorry but not at all. Also the only Sony exclusives I liked in the past year was Metal Gear Solid 4 and it is not from them. So no, those "exlusives" are definitely not making their conference better to my eyes.

And it has been like that for multiple year... Sony enthusiats (or Microsoft haters) are just coming up with their reasoning why Sony won the E3 but at the end, you can say whatever you want. The only people Sony or Microsoft are wining to are their fans. And the reality is that Microsoft fans may have been disapointed by ONE E3 but for rest, Microsoft conferences were always amazing and up to the expectations for all of them.

This is really a thing with fans. They have hard time to understand that when you are not so much into one platform, then you see the conferences with a very different perspectives...
