I've got to say arms actually. Shows that Nintendo is still interested in making new, interesting IPs.

The follow-up to the best game of 7th gen in Xenoblade 2 doesn't hurt either!

@italics: Arms actually looked pretty cool! Looks like there will be different play styles and some rather complex mechanics. Or people can just wail on each other

The fact that I know if I miss a release stock of it, I won't be missing out on anything excites me.

Also, the fact they are making a budget Xenoblade makes me hopeful for a cheaper game than $60. Kind of an exciting thought.

Who's budgeting my xenoblade!?

Seriously though, I'll be sad if it isn't anything but the best and biggest advendture like the original >_<

If this truly were Nintendo's goal with this system, they wouldn't have had such pricey accessories! You want to have an extra pair of joy-cons? That'll be $80. Want a pro controller? $70. That's not very local multiplayer friendly.

You already have two controllers bundled with the console, which already saves you the bother of buying another one. Consoles usually come with just one controller. If you have a friend who'll buy a Switch too (which is my case), we already have 4 controllers to play MK with our friends. We don't have to spend an extra euro for that, which was the case with all the consoles before Switch. But I was merely talking about games. I'll gadly take any recommendation of great PS4 couch games to play. I really couldn't find a single one. We're tired of this trend. Games which could easily have that option (Titanfall, Overwatch...) don't have that option because of reasons.

It's slim pickings, but there are a few. Helldivers is pretty good. Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is solid. Wild Arms Reloaded, which just came out last month, is fun with up to four friends locally. Here's my review: http://www.vgchartz.com/article/267002/wild-guns-reloaded-ps4/

There's also Diablo III and Borderlands.

I agree that it is a shame that local co-op is slowly disappearing; it's how I game almost 50% of the time, together with my wife - it's great! I love it. But that doesn't excuse Nintendo's pricing of their products. Me and my wife won't be buying two Switch's, and if we had kids we wanted to play with, we'd have to buy more than just one more controller for all of us to play together. A Wii U pro controller is $50, and a wiimote and nunchuck together is $60 - so why is Switch's extra controllers so much more expansive?

Monolith Soft doesn't screw around. I'm sure it will be awesome.

Currently most "excited" about Arms because it's a new IP from Nintendo and I'm eager to learn more about the game. Will it have a single-player campaign? A story? How many characters and stages will there be? Will it be like Splatoon but with fighting games? Who exactly is developing it? Will it have enough content to be worth its asking price? What's the resolution and frame rate like? (hopefully 1080P and 60 fps across the board) Etc.

Breath of the Wild already looks and sounds like the best game I've played all generation.

I agree the products are overpriced, but only by about $10 relative to the competition. Xbox One and PS4 controllers lauched at $60, $10 less than the Switch Pro. And the $80 Joy-Con bundle is two controllers in one package, so it's $40 per Joy-Con, which is pretty close to what the original Wii Remote cost if I'm remembering correctly.

Again, I agree they're overpriced. But I think if Nintendo dropped everything by a measly $10 a lot of the rage would subside.

Yeah, that's probably true, and I'm probably over reacting since I'm a bit butt hurt woth Nintendo right now. Sadly, the more I'm thinking about the Swtich the more disappointed I'm getting - and it's over things that realy won't effect ME all that much!
